Tables relating to User Security in Dynamics GP

From Dynamics GP v10 onwards, the user security model within Dynamics GP changed to a structure of Security Tasks and Roles. One or more Security Roles could then be assigned to a user. When undertaking an upgrade from version Dynamics GP 9.0 or older, it would be possible to prepare the security setup on the newer version of Dynamics GP (during the UAT phase for example) and then use the Export Data functions in SQL Server to transfer the security setup data to the related tables in live upgraded system.

The following table provides an overview to the relevant tables:

SY10700 Security Assignment Task Operations Stores detail of which individual resources (Windows, Reports etc) from each product dictionary are linked to a given Security TASK.
